Authentic good quality Japanese style food. The menu has plenty of options and you can build your own breakfast too. Lunch is served from 11am. Our Cafe lattes were very good and there's also filtered coffee, genmaicha, matcha and other options. Quite a range of whiskeys behind the bar too.

Seriously good food, wonderful service, and the whole cafe is such a nice vibe. I’ve been to Haiku multiple times and their food has always been delicious. We went to Kuro (Haiku at night) tonight and the food was just sublime. Will definitely be back. Here are just a few snaps of some of the dishes we had.

Plenty of space outside on a Sunday morning, inside was busy but still room for people who arrived after us. Coffee was prompt and delicious. Been to a number of cafes with “fusion” Japanese menus, this was the first that felt like the breakfast dish was fitting into the Japanese flavors/style and not the other way around. Will be going back with friends to try more of the breakfast and lunch menu!

Haiku is one of those “thank god I chose to eat at this place” options. I got the Karaage Chicken Burger which was super fresh and super juicy, and definitely Japanese flavoured, which was an extremely enjoyable - albeit different - burger experience. My wife went with the Scattered Sushi Bowl which she absolutely loved using words like “I love everything on this plate”, “it’s so fresh and delicious” and finally, “that’s the best meal I’ve had in a long time.” Service was very prompt and friendly, and at around lunch time on a weekday, there was quite a number of diners choosing to eat in which I suspect would consistently be the case at Haiku. If you want a tasty and high quality introduction to Japanese flavours, Haiku is an unbelievable option. Highly recommended!

Really nice cafe with an Asian twist. Featuring more typical brunch items as well as Japanese influenced sets and meals. Coffee is top notch too.

Pretty ok Japanese food I had a mushroom cheese toaster - side of fried lotus was a nice touch, but got a bit too much after. Friend head a traditional breakfast set - was as expected

Really nice brunch/dinner/bar restaurant with a really warm and cozy interior! They have a great selection of coffees for brunch or drinks for dinner as well. Food was tasty and good portions :D can get quite busy tho which is also a good sign

What an awesome Japanese style cafe and dining experience. To be clear, I am reviewing the dinner time experience. The staff and services are friendly and prompt, the food are great and great choices of drinks. Ambience is great (maybe a bit too dim for my personal liking but I’m being very picky). We ordered almost everything from the menu and they were very good. The staff did warn us that it will be too much, which was why we decided to tone it down a bit. The portion size is reasonably generous, hence why it was too much. Overall great value for money and will definitely come back for more
